I was ecstatic when I found this apartment because it was the best location for the price compared to any other dwelling I looked at previously.
On top of that, the building owner was willing to forgive my credit rating being a little lower than average, however that has already improved in the time since… As good as this arena seemed at first, it was rife with problems.
I had to push the building owner to finally repair a plumbing concern that I suspect she was neglecting with her previous renter. Once that was finally addressed permanently, I had to get him to repair the broken window and the weatherstripping around the more than one doors that go in and out. This arena surely wasn’t perfect, however at least it gave myself and others a lake house for the foreseeable future. One thing I knew that needed to be substituted eventually was the old window air conditioner. While it was chilly and never prevented myself and others from staying comfortable, it was so loud that it kept myself and others up at night whenever it would turn on again to cycle. This became so annoying that I eventually went out and bought a brand modern window air conditioner myself with my own money. I just put the old window air conditioner in a storage closet and will put it back where it was installed when I transfer out of this apartment someday. Aside from being much quieter, the modern air conditioner uses less electricity to keep myself and others feeling comfortably cool, even in the worst summer time heat waves. I’m much happier with this modern window air conditioner compared to the old 1.
