Convincing my grandparents to get central HVAC

Moreover, the summer is no walk in the park either! Last year’s heat wave left their area in the triple digits for nearly a week! I’ve tried to tell them that it will help improve their indoor air quality.

Recently, I found myself pitching the idea to my grandparents that they would benefit from a central heating and air conditioning system. This may seem absurd, but you have to understand that they’re extremely old-fashioned. They also really know how to pinch their pennies. However, they are retired now and between the two of them they have plenty of money to spare, so I really want them to invest in a central heating and air conditioning system! I don’t understand how they’ve been able to get along without one for so long where they live. It really can get quite cold in the winter and snowfall is common. Moreover, the summer is no walk in the park either! Last year’s heat wave left their area in the triple digits for nearly a week! I’ve tried to tell them that it will help improve their indoor air quality. I’ve also mentioned that an HVAC system will help maintain proper moisture levels within the home so that it doesn’t end up too humid or too dry. Grandpa even complains about not being able to sleep very well lately, so I told him that an air conditioner will help keep his room nice and cool, which is very conducive for a good night’s rest! I think I’m beginning to convince them. After all, saving money religiously is one thing, but they don’t have very many years left, and they should finally just let loose and enjoy what time they have left! Central heating and air conditioning will definitely improve their lives and make them far more comfortable.
