The heating and air conditioning company that I had been doing business with for a few years in this area just wasn’t cutting it anymore.
Prices had steadily increased, for comparatively little customer service.
It’s not that they’ve been doing a terrible job, it’s just that I get the sense that I could find a heating and air conditioning company that can do a better job without charging such exorbitant prices. The last straw came when One of their HVAC technicians suggested that I completely replace my heating and air conditioning system despite the fact that it was only a decade old! He cited a few problems that I was sure were repairable without scrapping the entire system. So I decided to look elsewhere for HVAC service. I did my research as best as I could, looking for other businesses and all the reviews that I could find on them. It turns out there was an HVAC company even closer to where I live that had excellent reviews and seemingly lower prices. I am definitely going to give them a try. I surely hope that they won’t tell me that I need to replace my heating and air conditioning system. It just seems crazy to me, but I will have to see. My HVAC system really had not been acting up prior to the HVAC technician telling me that I may as well replace it. Ultimately, I just believe that they were trying to sell me a new HVAC unit and make me spend a whole bunch of money. That’s why I left!
