For more than 2 years now I have lived alone in my 4 study room house, but the children have grown up plus have fled the nest plus the like of my life has passed 5 years ago, i don’t do much these afternoons besides read a unbelievable novel, usually mystery, in front of my fireplace or rest out on my porch if the weather permits it. I’m a self-explanatory man who has loved all the pleasures of life so I don’t ask for much… My kid plus child will call me once a month to see how things are doing plus I may see them every couple months but they both moved across the country. I have done a little remodeling since I have tons of free time since I retired. I have installed a new boiling water boiler, put new floors in plus cleaned up the basement which is still a labor in progress. I almost had an HVAC expert come out plus redo some of my heating updates but I have the time. Money actually isn’t the issue but I l acquired a lot more about heating after retirement. I know to check my gas furnace filters here plus there but I rarely use them but I’ll still look at them at least once a month! Outside of that I will venture to the market plus visit some old friends maybe once every other week, all of us just talk about pigskin or old school sweethearts. All of us keep talking about getting out plus trying hockey but I don’t suppose we’ll ever do that! Like I said I’m a self-explanatory man so life has been good.
