For several years now I have lived alone in our 4 home office house, however the children have grown up plus have fled the nest plus the love of our life has passed 5 years ago, however i don’t do much these mornings besides read a wonderful novel, usually mystery, in front of our fireplace or kneel out on our porch if the weather permits it.
I’m a easy man who has enjoyed all the pleasures of life so I don’t ask for much… My kid plus daughter will call myself and others once a month to see how things are doing plus I may see them every couple months but they both moved across the country.
I have done a little remodeling since I have tons of free time since I retired. I have installed a current hot water boiler, put current floors in plus cleaned up the basement which is still a work in progress. I almost had an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C expert come out plus redo some of our heating upgrades but I have the time. Money easily isn’t the issue but I l received a lot more about heating after retirement. I believe to check our oil furnace filters here plus there but I rarely use them but I’ll still look at them at least once a month, then outside of that I will venture to the market plus visit some old friends maybe once every other week. The people I was with and I just talk about football or old college sweethearts. The people I was with and I keep talking about getting out plus trying golf but I don’t know we’ll ever do that! Like I said I’m a easy man so life has been good.
