My husband told myself and others to come with something that would help bring current buyers to our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company. I told him the people I was with and I needed a scavenger hunt that ended with someone getting a current Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system, but he said that was too gimmicky. He didn’t love the idea. She talked about a contest where people could help solve a mystery. She wrote a story that was more of a mystery book than anything. People had to do a lot of research on Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems if they wanted to solve the mystery. Someone would win an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan if they were the first to solve the mystery of the air conditioner unit. Mom put a lot of labor into the story she wrote & then posted on dad’s Heating, Ventilation, & A/C website. She talked about the opening of a haunting & then made it sound love it was a bad component in the A/C unit. The first person to solve the mystery won the game. The contest ran for nearly two weeks before anyone came up with the right answer. It was also the first time I realized how strongly the internet wove into everyone’s lives. She had people trying to figure out the mystery who were on the other side of the world. I asked how dad was going to deliver the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan to someone that was thoUSAnds of miles away. He said he would need to do a lot of extravagant talking to other Heating, Ventilation, & A/C companies; Knowing our dad, you could live in the Arctic, & he would find someway to get the prgave Heating, Ventilation, & A/C plan to the winner.
