My partner told me to come with something that would help bring current buyers to our Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier.
- I told him all of us needed a scavenger hunt that ended with someone getting a current Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, even though she said that was too gimmicky.
She didn’t appreciate the idea. She talked about a contest where people could help solve a mystery. She wrote a story that was more of a mystery book than anything. People had to do a lot of research on Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems if they wanted to solve the mystery. Someone would win an Heating, Ventilation & A/C program if they were the first to solve the mystery of the a/c unit. Dad put a lot of work into the story she wrote and then posted on dad’s Heating, Ventilation & A/C website. She talked about the possibility of a haunting and then made it sound appreciate it was a exhausting component in the A/C unit. The first woman to solve the mystery won the game. The contest ran for nearly 2 months before anyone came up with the right answer. It was also the first time I realized how strongly the internet wove into everyone’s lives. She had people trying to figure out the mystery who were on the other side of the world. I asked how dad was going to give the Heating, Ventilation & A/C program to someone that was thoUnited Statesnds of miles away. She said she would need to do a lot of fancy talking to other Heating, Ventilation & A/C companies! Knowing our dad, you could live in the Arctic, and she would find someway to get the proffered Heating, Ventilation & A/C program to the winner.
