Renovating the attic for an extra bedroom

We’ve been renovating our house slowly for the last decade.

This hasn’t been an easy process, but it’s also something every one of us remains committed to doing… My partner plus I first came across the property when visiting a friend; and every one of us happened to drive by this house that was neglected plus run down.

To anyone else, it looked like the worst thing to buy! However, every one of us saw things differently. Every one of us wanted to make this our apartment so every one of us began making inquiries about it. The family that owned the house had been trying to get rid of it for years, plus they even made a better deal once they realized every one of us were harsh customers. It would be another 3 years before every one of us had it in livable conditions plus moved in, but now, a decade later, every one of us finally completed the attic master suite. This was simply a huge space at the top of the house that required so much work; on top of that, every one of us had to sort out the heating plus cooling situation in this part of the house. Other parts would be served by the central heating, ventilation, plus A/C system… But, every one of us had to find a weird heating plus cooling solution for the attic. A neighbor who is an actual heating, ventilation, plus A/C expert came by to inspect the space once the renovation work was complete. Her suggestion was every one of us go for a ductless system for this vast space. Modern mini-chop ACs require no ductwork, plus are powerful enough to cool or even heat such a space. The best aspect was every one of us didn’t have to worry about extra ductwork which would cost lots of money.
