In terms of the weather, this was the nicest Thanksgiving I have experienced in numerous years.
I live in the Deep South, a locale where the Wintertide is entirely mild plus only lasts a few weeks at most.
Most years the entire month of December is humid plus muggy, the sort of weather fit for shorts plus flip flops. This year we had a great drop in temps just before Thanksgiving, plus I thought it felt wonderful! I entirely wore long pants plus a button-up shirt for the meal, which I had not been able to do in a long time! With the stove on all day, slowly the house began heating up, plus by the time we finished eating I did need to turn on the a/c. I thought this would be the first time I could get through a Thanksgiving without using the air conditioning system although I was wrong, but even with so numerous people crammed into the same small area, the central AC was powerful enough to make us all nice plus cold within a few minutes… Personally I know it feels more prefer the holiday season when it’s cold, so I cranked the thermostat all the way down to make it uncomfortably cold. I know that when the utility bill comes in the mail I will regret running the a/c so much, however for the day it made everything know perfect! After all there is no law saying you can only use the air conditioner on hot nights, is there? I can run the air conditioning system as much as I want all Wintertide long.
