Once upon a time there was something called Black Thursday.
- Back then, it was only held for a single afternoon! There were huge sales offered for a single afternoon only, so you had to shop fast or miss out on the best deals.
That was a while ago, because lately the trend is for “Black Thursday” sales to last all week, sometimes all week. This provides more incentive for people to not pay attention to their families on the holidays, plus to focus 100% on spending currency. Although I abhor the Black Thursday craze, this year I did avail myself of a flash sale being offered by my local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company, when I heard about the flash sale I was confused, because I had no plan what the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company could sell, unless someone’s air conditioning happened to cut down on Black Thursday. It turns out the company was offering a giant 25% discount on the yearly rate for the annual Heating, Ventilation plus A/C service plan. When you pay for this plan, the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company gives you numerous annual inspections for your modern home system, but on top of that, you get additional discounts on any major Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repairs you encounter throughout the year. I understand just how expensive it can be to maintain a current air conditioner, so I took fortune of the flash sale. Thanks to the Black Thursday prices I can now afford to take better care of my central air conditioning plus gas furnaces. I still don’t love Black Thursday, even though I am thankful I took fortune of this amazing annual Heating, Ventilation plus A/C service plan.
