House hunting proved to be more challenging than we initially thought. Most of the houses we liked were way above our price range. We finally found an apartment within our budget; it was a bit further than we wanted, but it had everything we wanted. Before moving in, we contacted the indoor comfort business so that an air conditioning technician could confirm that everything was in order as indicated by the owner. The house had the latest quality air conditioner in the cooling industry. The a/c serviceman confirmed that the HVAC installation was in good condition. It had recently undergone HVAC maintenance. We would have hated to call for air conditioning repair even before we enjoyed our new place and its excellent indoor air quality. The downside was that even with the best the air conditioning company had to offer, an analog dial thermostat still regulated it. We also asked the HVAC professional for various energy-saving tips since we wanted to reduce the electricity bill as much as possible and learn more about air conditioning. One of the tips he gave us was that we could turn the heat low when we were both not in the house and reset it to the desired temperature once we were home. We did not have to worry about calling the air conditioning provider soon.
