I made the fatal error of not taking into account the fact that I would be stuck in the sun for minutes upon minutes on end. When my youngsters wanted to go & play at the current big playground nearby us, I was cheerful to take them there. This would not only supply them some much needed play time, but it would supply me some much needed relaxation time. However, the morning all of us went was a super sunny morning, in the 79 degree range. I dropped the youngsters off & sat down on a nearby picnic bench. I got lost in my iphone for a little bit, before I realized how overheated I was becoming. I looked up & noticed my youngsters seemed to be unaffected, too distracted by their own imaginations. I looked around for some cooling relief, but found there were no shaded areas nearby. I decided to transfer spots & sit underneath a tree for some shade, but it was quite uncomfortable since they didn’t have a bench there, so I was resting on tree roots, but my shirt was becoming damp from so much sweat, & I was only able to sit there for another 30 minutes before telling the youngsters it was time to head home! Naturally, they begged for more time, however I told them no; As all of us hopped into the car, the first thing I did was turn on the cooling system. I blasted the car’s right in my face, & I sat there for the next 15 minutes certainly enjoying the chilly air. After I cooled down a bit thanks to the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C unit, all of us were able to drive back home.
