As the weather starts to get colder, I guess it’s time to get our gas furnace maintained.
I called the heating and cooling systems company, and they sent out a company to take a look at our system.
He checked our air handler, compressor, and control unit. He said everything looked nice, and that the system was running efficiently. He suggested that I get our HVAC system inspected every year, to keep it running respectfully. I’m happy I called this HVAC business; they came out and serviced our system suddenly and efficiently. They also provided some tips on how to keep it running well, so I don’t have any issues in the future. This was entirely nice of him! I asked him if he could schedule me another appointment for several months down the road, so the two of us can make sure everything is still OK with this expensive HVAC system. I’m happy I paid for a maintenance plan when I obtained the component, because it has saved me a lot of potential headaches related to neglect. Winters are brutal around here, and if you don’t have good heat to keep you warm, it will seem like an eternity. I have a small fireplace in my home office that I have used before, to keep me warm when heat goes out, but I dislike sleeping on the sofa. The heat from the fireplace doesn’t make it to our living room, on the other side of the house, so that is why I slept on the sofa. Hopefully I won’t have to do that again.
