As the weather starts to get colder, it’s time to get my gas furnace worked on. I called my HVAC supplier and they sent out a service worker to take a look at my system. He checked my air handler, compressor and thermostat, and said that everything looked fantastic, and that my method was running efficiently. He recommended that I get my HVAC method checked every year to keep it running properly. I’m glad I called my HVAC supplier; they came out and serviced my system quickly and efficiently. They also gave me some tips on how to keep it running well, so I don’t have any complications in the future. This was really nice of him. I asked him if he could set me up another appointment for several months down the road, so I can make sure that everything is still ok with my HVAC system. I’m happy I got a service plan when I bought the component years ago, because it has saved me a lot of potential headaches from happening due to neglect. We get some brutally long winters in this neighborhood and if you don’t have fantastic heat to keep you hot it will be like an eternity. I have a small fireplace in my study room that I have used before to keep me hot when my heat went out but I don’t like sleeping on the sofa. The heat from the fireplace doesn’t make it to my home office on the other side of the house. That is why I slept on the sofa. Hopefully, I won’t have to do that again.
