As the weather starts to get colder, I know it’s time to get my heater serviced.
- I called my HVAC company and they sent out a technician to take a look at my system.
He checked my air handler, compressor, and thermostat. He said that everything looked good and that my system was running efficiently. He did suggest that I get my HVAC system serviced every year to keep it running properly. I’m glad I called my HVAC company; they were able to come out and service my system quickly and efficiently. They also gave me some tips on how to keep it running well so I don’t have any problems in the future which was really nice of him. I asked him if he could set me up another appointment now for six months down the road just so we can make sure that everything is still good with my HVAC system. I’m glad I got a service plan when I bought the unit years ago because it has saved me a lot of potential headaches from happening due to neglect. We get some brutally long winters in this town and if you don’t have good heat to keep you warm it will feel like an eternity. I have a small fireplace in my living room that I have used before to keep me warm when my heat went out but I don’t like sleeping on the sofa. The heat from the fireplace doesn’t make it to my bedroom on the other side of the house so that is why I slept on the sofa. Hopefully I won’t have to do that again though.
