This week I updated to a Smart thermostat. I didn’t have a super seasoned thermostat beforehand, nothing like a dial thermostat or anything like that, but I had decided that it was time for a change. I had an modest boring wall thermostat and I decided that I wanted something that was programmable, something that I could link to our Wi-Fi and control from our PC. This is where the programmable thermostat came into play, getting it was easy, I didn’t even have to go to our local heating & air conditioning business. I was able to pick up the smart thermostat that I wanted from our local hardware store that I really like because it saves me an extra trip. The heating & air conditioning corporation that’s in our town is a bit far away from our house, and so if I can avoid having to go to the heating and A/C corporation I will happily do so. What I appreciate about starting a thermostat is how easy and easy it is to install it, then don’t worry about having a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker coming out to do it for you, it is completely unnecessary. I appreciate the freedom and control a smart thermostat gives you. There’s nothing like being able to control the temperature in your lake house from somewhere and everywhere. I really could get used to this kind of luxury, it is making me lazy, then now I do not even get up to adjust the temperature anymore, I just open the app for our PC and change it that way.
