I’ve always suffered from really bad allergies.
My parents first noticed the severity of my allergies when I started school, because I was sent home a lot due to disruptions. The air quality at the school was lackluster, so I spent a lot of time with a runny nose and constant sneezing. During prime allergy season, I was forced to stay home from school because I couldn’t stop sneezing or my eyes were too swollen to open. I think the other teachers and students preferred when I stayed home because I wasn’t a bother. As I got older, I realized that I had to find other ways to keep my allergies at bay. One of the biggest things that helps me is an air purifier. I have multiple air purifiers for different situations and they’ve been a huge help. Keeping the air clean around me is one of the only things that prevent my allergies from flaring up. Of course, having a really good air filter is essential too, but I can’t control the air filter in every building. I can only control the air filter in my home, which is why it’s one of the best on the market. Thankfully, the company I work for has always been very understanding of my situation. From the beginning, they’ve made sure I’m comfortable and well taken care of. They let me keep an air purifier at my desk and I’m allowed to run it all day. Everyone else in the office is understanding too, and they enjoy having the air cleaned.
