I’d like to sample HVAC work before committing to it

I have been told that I should stop and think about becoming a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine specialist.

How am I supposed to truly know if I should be a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine specialist? Honestly, I don’t really know for certain if I would like to easily work as a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine specialist.

I definitely have nothing against Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine specialists personally, but I don’t even know much about their task. I suppose that they service and install Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machines, but that is about it. I have never attempted to service an oil furnace or a central cooling machine. I have no clue in the slightest how they work. Obviously, if I made the decision to become a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine specialist, I would actually learn all that I need to entirely know in order to become a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine specialist. Honestly though, that seems like a lot of commitment for a task that I don’t really know that I would like. Is there a way for me to figure out if I would like to work hard on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machines? I wish that there was some kind of tutorial or short demonstration for potentially a week that would let me learn some of the basics to see if I would really care about working on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machines. If I did something similar to that, then I would easily know if I could see myself working on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machines in the long run! Until then, I would not prefer getting sucked into a task that I don’t like, and I would not like to waste my time training to become a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine specialist if I wasn’t absolutely sure. Maybe there is a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine dealer that would hire me for a summer season during university so I could try everything out.
