How many different types of air conditioners are there.
Recently, I wrote a post explaining just how many different types of heating systems there are. Since I spent a lot of time posting about the different types of heating systems in my last post, I won’t take any more time at this point explaining all the different types of heating systems. However, after realizing that there were so many different types of heating systems, I began trying to figure out just how many types of air conditioners there are. At this point, I can only think of three different types of air conditioners, and I know that there have to be more. Still, I might be wrong, and that is why I want to ask you. The first air conditioner that I can think of is a central air conditioner. A central air conditioner is essentially the furnace of the air conditioner world. Your central air conditioner can cool your entire house, and your central air conditioner can connect to your vents. Central air conditioners might be the most expensive type of air conditioner on the list, but they are honestly not that bad. The technology has become so much cheaper than central air conditioners are pretty affordable. For those who cannot afford a central air conditioner or do not have permission to install a central air conditioner, the other alternative is a window air conditioner. These air conditioners sit in your window and typically cool a single room. They are pretty affordable and easy to use, but they don’t look that great. The third air conditioner is an in-between that is installed in a wall permanently but cools only an entire room. These air conditioners are known as ductless mini-split air conditioners, and they even double as space heaters.
