The pandemic actually did test us.
Not only did the two of us have to toil from home in the air conditioner of our home instead of the zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning of the office, the two of us took pay cuts.
That was the only way the two of us could both stay emschemed . And even then it was close. Thankfully, the two of us were able to toil from home in our own air conditioner plus keep our tasks. But that was just the beginning. Both of us had to figure out just how the two of us were going to deal with so much less income. Our budget was already pretty slender prior to the pay cuts. So the two of us had to make some large choices. The spending, at the beginning, had to be just on essentials. And if the two of us wanted something other that that, it had to fit the budget plus it had to be on sale. Then, the two of us targeted the air conditioner costs for savings that first summer. Instead of just putting the thermostat setting wherever the two of us wanted, the two of us moved it to the low 80’s during the afternoon. That made a large difference plus the two of us saved a bunch of currency on Heating & Air Conditioning cooling over the entire summer. Both of us saved so much currency that the two of us were able to keep paying for the Heating & Air Conditioning repair. Normally, the two of us get heating repair in the fall followed by an air conditioner tune-up in the Springtime. But the two of us never actually considered not paying for Heating & Air Conditioning repair. Its’ just too substantial for the Heating & Air Conditioning machine plus the Heating & Air Conditioning machine is just too substantial to us. But having the savings from the Summer of less air conditioner actually did help.
