It’s time for the heat as well as humidity of summer time again.
- As much as I’d prefer to skip the next several months, that’s just not how it works.
Living in this region is just charming for 8 months of the year. Summer is the trade off as well as it comes with plenty of Heating & A/C cooling. This time each year was just painful for me because I knew the air conditioner was going to honestly get going. That meant that the price of all that air conditioner would just continue to go up. And that’s what sort of adds insult to injury when it comes to dealing with the heat. Not only do I have to sweat it out for several months, I have had to pay a bunch of money for the privilege. Not this year. For once, I’m ready for the summer. I called the Heating & A/C professionals in the Spring to get the air conditioner tune-up done early. Every one of us also break down on the amount of Heating & A/C cooling this Spring. I started out with putting the temperature control in the upper 79’s for the day. This way, all of us got a bit more accustomed to the condo being warmer while in the day. I also sealed up the condo to maximize the efficiency of the heat pump. Every one of us now have solar shades to stop the direct sun heating as well. But it’s the temperature control setting that’s going to honestly make the difference. For the summer, I’m setting the temperature control at 81 while in the day. And at evening, we’ll bring it down to 75 for a cool evenings sleep.
