The pandemic honestly did test us.
Not only did all of us have to labor from lake condo in the air conditioner of our condo instead of the zone controlled Heating & A/C of the office, all of us took pay cuts.
That was the only way all of us could both stay emplotted . And even then it was close. Thankfully, all of us were able to labor from lake condo in our own air conditioner as well as keep our tasks. But that was just the start. Every one of us had to figure out just how all of us were going to deal with so much less income. Our budget was already pretty slim prior to the pay cuts. So all of us had to make some giant choices. The spending, at the start, had to be just on essentials. And if all of us wanted something other that that, it had to fit the budget as well as it had to be on sale. Then, all of us targeted the air conditioner costs for savings that first summer. Instead of just putting the temperature control setting wherever all of us wanted, all of us moved it to the low 73’s while in the day. That made a giant difference as well as all of us saved a bunch of money on Heating & A/C cooling over the entire summer. Every one of us saved so much money that all of us were able to keep paying for the Heating & A/C maintenance. Normally, all of us get heating maintenance in the fall followed by an air conditioner tune-up in the Spring. But all of us never honestly considered not paying for Heating & A/C maintenance. Its’ just too important for the Heating & A/C equipment as well as the Heating & A/C equipment is just too important to us. But having the savings from the summer time of less air conditioner honestly did help.
