Controlling my own thermostat system is really the best part about being able to work from home.
That’s something that I figured out right away whenever I started to work from home last year.
I used to have all kinds of trouble with the heating and cooling system at the office building where my business is centrally located. They used to just control the thermostat all willy nilly and no one seemed to really care what the indoor air quality in the building was. It was like they would forget sometimes that they actually had human workers inside of the building because they would have the air conditioning so cold in the summer and the heating so hot in the winter. I hated working there, even though I actually like my job. So whenever I got the chance to work from home, I jumped at it. I wanted to make sure to do the best job that I could so that I could keep on working from home forever, if possible. That’s because I realized that I would be able to control my own thermostat system however I wanted to since I would be working from home. Now, I don’t have to worry about the thermostat at all because I can adjust it whenever I feel like it. I honestly think that controlling my own thermostat is the very best part about working from home. I love being able to work in my pajamas, too, but that’s nothing compared to the great indoor air quality that I have in my house!
