Occasionally, it’s so hot outside that the only things that you can do are go to get ice cream, go swimming, or go to the motion pictures where you can rest in the free air conditioner for a couple of minutes.
That’s exactly what I was thinking the other day when the temperature outside was in the nineties before suppertime.
All of us decided that we were going to go to the motion pictures just so that we could like the free air conditioner for a while, along with popcorn & some nachos. All of us got to the motion pictures, bought our tickets, & headed into the theater. But that’s when I noticed that there was certainly something wrong with the indoor air quality in the theater. Usually whenever you go inside the motion pictureplex in the summer, the air conditioner hits you right in the face whenever you walk in the door. That’s not what happened this time, though. The air conditioner didn’t even seem to be turned on in that theater & it was hot & stuffy in there. This was not good, since kneeling in the air conditioner was entirely the only reason that we made the decision to go to the motion pictures in the first site. All of us didn’t entirely prefer the motion picture that was playing. I ended up going back out front to the lobby to ask the director what was going on with the air conditioner situation in that identifiable theater & she just said that the air conditioner was down that day. I ended up demanding our money back because there was no way I was going to pay to rest inside a stuffy theater for two minutes.
