My child decided that she wants to work on a berry farm this summer.
- This is the first that I have ever heard about that sort of thing.
I was entirely surprised when she came to us & told us that she wanted to go work on this berry farm that’s a few miles away from our house, but usually our child just wants to rest around in the air conditioner all summer, however this year she told us that she wants to work outside. It was entirely shocking when she first told us about it. I did not think that she would easily go through with it, honestly. I thought that she would go & work there for 1 day or maybe two & then she would supply up because she wanted to come home & rest in the cold air conditioner at our house. But, it is already her fourth week of work & she is still going strong. She says that she entirely enjoys the work, even though it gets entirely hot outside in the fields. I have to say that I am somewhat impressed with her work ethic because I used to think they did not even have 1. She says that the only time that they get to rest in the air conditioner & cool off is when they take their breaks in the main part of the barn that has a little window component cooling system in it. I am pretty proud of him for going & doing this task, because easily I do not guess if I could do it myself. I think she entirely loves picking strawberries, & she is thinking about going to college for agriculture next Springtime semester.
