My parents have a really big anniversary coming up in a couple of months and I have been thinking and thinking about what I can get them as an anniversary gift.
It’s really hard to decide, since they have just about everything that they could ever want.
They don’t really like to travel much, so that’s out of the question. The only thing that I can think of that would be a really good gift idea for them is a heating and cooling preventative maintenance package. Something like that doesn’t really seem very glitzy and glamorous like I feel that an anniversary present should be, but at least I do know that they would love it. My dad is constantly worrying about whether or not the air filters in their HVAC system need to be changed and I know that my mom is always thinking about whether or not the air conditioning is going to be going on the blink. So I know that they would appreciate having a professional HVAC technician come out to check on things for them once every three months or so. Even though it isn’t exactly the most exciting anniversary gift I’ve ever heard of, I do think that they will really like it. My parents are basically very practical people and so a gift like this will probably be something that they will appreciate very much. I think that I will get them a three year subscription for the heating and cooling service and see what happens from there. I honestly think that they are going to love it.
