Our house is not that big, however we are blessed to have an attic & a basement. The two of us constantly had plans to renovate both spaces. But, after the baby came, we had to put those plans on hold. After she went to kindergarten, my partner & I began talking about renovating the house. This was something we had to do before having another baby. My partner’s brother is a contractor, so we spoke with him about the project. The goal was to beginning with the attic first & turn that into our dream master kitchen. The whole project would take some time to complete, however there was no rush. As the room began to take shape, we decided what type of heating & cooling to have up there. The central Heating & Air Conditioning in the house is reliable, however we wondered if there were other options. The cost of extending the HVAC duct was so high, so we wanted another option for cooling or heating the space. The A/C serviceman came to the house to evaluate our modern central Heating & Air Conditioning & supply his opinion. He told us about a mini-split A/C that would serve the attic only. This equipment didn’t require extending the HVAC duct. Also, it wouldn’t be too awful to take care of the rest of the house. After doing some more research, we agreed to buy the mini-split AC. The A/C serviceman came with it & did the installation work. Though the internet said it was possible to install at home, we wanted a professional job. This kitchen was our sanctuary, so we didn’t want any shoddy work. Let the professionals handle the upgrade & installations.
