Mom was expecting some guests and was tied up in the living room.
I came down after finishing some work to help her out, however ever since I moved back home, I assume much better and can finally relax.
I have some virtual assistant jobs, and I’m surprised that the spend money is better than a 9 to 5. I told mom that afternoon I’d lend a hand to get everything after a meeting with 1 of our bosses. Mom was dripping with sweat in the living room, and that’s when I realized the house was hot. She complained that the cooling plan was faulty, and it seemed this was happening on the worst day. I had to ask mom if she had called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company for assistance. Mom said she did, however it would be a 3 to 4-hour wait before an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker came to the house. The two of us had to brave the high temperatures that grew worse in the living room because of all the cooking. At around 1 pm, I heard the doorbell ring and went to answer it. A young guy was sitting there wearing a coverall with an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C logo. I let him in and showed him where the cooling plan was set up. Mom walked by, and the young guy greeted her with delight. Mom replied, and they had a short conversation about the unit. She then left him to do his job and commended that the young Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker was quite professional. He never once seemed distracted or miserable answering mom’s cooling plan questions. After he was done, he explained the concern was all fixed and left.
